  • BottleDrop | SECO

Oregon BottleDrop REQUEST A BOTTLEDROP BAG SECO participates in the Oregon BottleDrop program for non-profits as an easy way for families and community members to support our school while helping the environment. Through this program, redeemable bottles and cans are collected and returned through BottleDrop, with the funds donated directly to SECO. It’s a simple way to turn everyday recycling into meaningful support for our students and school programs. This fundraiser supports activities and opportunities for students at Sato Elementary School. Funds raised through BottleDrop help SECO provide school events, enrichment opportunities, classroom support, and community activities throughout the year. One of the best parts of this program is that 100% of the funds collected go back to SECO, minus a small processing fee charged by the Oregon BottleDrop Processing Center. Participating in the BottleDrop program also helps reduce waste and supports responsible recycling in our community. By returning bottles and cans through this program, families are helping keep recyclable materials out of landfills while teaching students the importance of caring for our environment. Together, we can make a positive impact both at our school and in our local community. Accepted items include most beverage containers that carry the Oregon deposit. This typically includes aluminum cans, plastic bottles, and glass bottles from beverages such as soda, sparkling water, juice drinks, sports drinks, beer, and bottled water. Families can request a blue collection bag through our website, and a bag with a SECO-specific QR code will be sent home with your student. No BottleDrop account is required to participate.
