The Climbing Wall is Up!
THANK YOU SATO PARENTS!
Thank you to our Sato Family & Friends who supported our Raccoon Run Fundraiser and all of our events last year! Thanks to you the Sato Climbing Wall is now installed in the Gym and our kids get to climb, climb and climb! We know they are all excited to have this new addition to the school and we are so grateful for your continued support for all our fundraising events. Thank you!
Sato Movie Night
Friday SEPTember, 29th 6:30pm
Join us for our first Movie Night of this school year next Friday @6.30 pm for the screening of The Super Mario Bros. Movie.
We have 400 tickets available and snacks and drinks can be pre-purchased.
Our previous movie nights have been very successful due to parent volunteers helping us, so if you are able to, please sign up to help HERE! Please note students must be supervised at all times, and there is no food in the gym so snacks and drinks much be kept at the tables.
Benevity - employer match for donations plus volunteer hours.
Working Parents check your employer’s policies towards matching donations and volunteer hours to charities. This additional income goes a long way to our fundraising efforts.

Art Literacy

We had our first Art Lit training for the year last week. Did you miss it but would still like to volunteer? Not to worry. We still have a few classrooms in need of volunteers, please reach out to Rachel at rachel.kulak@gmail.com to signup and get training material.
*Please note we love volunteers! You don’t need to teach or speak English as a first language to volunteer.
International Walk & Roll to School

Let’s walk, ride and roll to school! Join a walking school bus in your neighborhood and walk or bike to school. Want to host a Walking school bus? Click here to get involved.

We ❤️ Popcorn Fridays!
Starts friday september, 29th
Popcorn Fridays are back for 2023-24. Popcorn Friday is a fun Sato tradition where our volunteers make popcorn in our carnival style machines and pass out to the students at lunch. It's an easy fundraiser for the school and volunteers feel the love, seeing the smiles and excitement on the students' faces. Students have the opportunity to purchase a bag of popcorn during their lunch for $1. There is also an option for families to “sponsor” a classroom for $25. That means that every student in that class will get popcorn during their lunchtime. We've been very successful at having the whole school sponsored in the past, so we hope to keep that going.
