Our Mission
The mission of Sato Elementary Community Organization (SECO) shall be to promote the complete well-being of the students of Sato Elementary School and enhance their learning experience.
As a parent-led group, we are partner with our teachers to enhance the total well-being of the students of Sato. Our goal is to enrich their learning experience by fostering community among parents, teachers and staff.
How we achieve this mission through SECO:
Fostering Community among parents, teachers, staff and students to enable a healthy and constructive learning environment for each student;
Building open communication between parents, teachers, staff and students;
Aiding SES in funding for projects beyond the regular school budget;
Encouraging and facilitating parental Involvement
Supporting all SES staff in and out of classrooms to implement school and class goals.
Our Community
Located in the North Bethany area of Washington County, Oregon, we are a diverse community near the headquarters of Nike and Intel. Situated with a view of the Tualitin Hills and Forest Park with local shops, nature trails, bike paths, parks and athletic fields by PCC Rock Creek campus, our area offers a wonderful community and excellent schools for families. Sato Elementary feeds into Stoller Middle School and Westview High School.
